The travels of the 'Anne is (not) dead' table

I was asked to make an antique table into art for Dutch Art Collaboration.

Because I'm already working on a project about death, I decided to make a table that would make me very sad.

So I made a little sculpture of what my friend Anne would look like if she were dead. I gave her a coffin, her cat Donald, and some pages from my diary I wrote about her. The proces made me cry, which I think is good, because I believe that if I feel something when I work, other people tend to feel it too.

The table is for sale at the Dutch Art Collaboration webshop.

It was first shown at Alquilar, Utrecht,

then at Pop Up Store, Utrecht,

and now it's been selected to go and inhabit  GoGallery, Amsterdam until january. I'll keep you posted on how that goes and the paths the table is going to be taking in the future. xxx!

You can follow the making of LOVE (that's hilarious, I meant to type LIVE, for the making of LOVE is not the direction we want this clip to go) albeit reasonably spoiler-free. So here we go. Nausica preview & sort-of making-of

This is STILL a preview, because even though I designed the album cover more than a year ago, this awesome band Nausica and I can't seem to find the time to come together and finish the production. But I promise you that it will be great when we will. Won't be that long now. I think we might even make it within 2012.
